Railing thru Europe: Stop 12.3 Germany – Legendary Cruise along the Rhine

After dumping our excess baggage at the hostel, we headed back to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to catch the next train to Mainz for the legendary cruise along the Rhine. The Rhine river is one of the most important and longest rivers in Europe and it stretches from the Swiss Alps in the south to the Netherlands up north cutting across Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany and France. As we head towards Koblenz, we were treated to amazing scenery as there are many castles and towns that dot the banks of the Rhine river.
